How We Started...
The Mukwonago Education Foundation was formed in September of 2004 and is a non profit
501(c)(3) organization. It was established to raise funds to support projects and activities
that will
enhance
the educational experience of students
in the Mukwonago
District. The activities of the Foundation this past year have focused on two areas. The first
was to distribute funds received in our general fund through a grant program.
The second was to establish partnerships with other school related organizations for
the
purpose of raising funds for
special projects. An example
of this was the Eagleville
Elementary
School raised over $20,000 to create a sixth grade classroom and science lab. The donations
were handled by the Education Foundation. Support for these worthy projects would not be
possible without generous donations from our community.
