One of Centurion's key assets has proven to be our staff of highly qualified engineers, technical, support and service personnel. They have demonstrated their expertise in software development, systems interfacing, customer installation and training plus post-sale technical support. In addition to providing both Windows and UNIX based multi-user and network systems, our technical staff has demonstrated their expertise beyond the individual operating systems by interfacing with mainframe, LAN and PC-based hardware and software systems.

By working together, Centurion, Inc. staff and our customer will design complete specifications for each software product to be delivered. Joint involvement of both parties enables the customer to determine what level of involvement and responsibility matches its needs and schedule. This arrangement also insures the exact fit of the application to the customer environment. Using current technology, these specifications will support functional definitions, network connectivity schemes, system flows, data relationships, data dictionaries, screen layouts and report formatting.

Upon acceptance of the design document by both parties, Centurion, Inc. will assign the necessary resources to develop and complete the project. Project tasks may be identified as:

  • Development of the defined software application
  • Preparation of user and administrative application documentation
  • Application testing and quality assurance reviews
  • Application installation, implementation and user training
     

The Project Manager will continually review project issues, evaluating them as to project timeline significance, scheduling status meetings when necessary.

Host System Interfaces:
The key to successful Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) applications is the connectivity and data exchange between a telephone system, voice response platform and a customer host information system. Centurion, Inc. has developed an extensive software library of custom hardware/software interface applications. Many of these utilize the Centurion, Inc. Interface ToolKit, enabling rapid development of interface functionality to mainframe, midrange and LAN server based host systems.
